Melangini is passionate advocate for inclusion, wellbeing, and a healthy enabling culture. She is currently the Chairperson of Malamulele Onward, an NPO supporting children with cerebral palsy, while also contributing to Anglo American’s Inclusion & Diversity networks and serves as a trained mental health first aider in her workplace at Kumba Iron Ore.
With a foundation in Industrial Sociology and Public Policy from the University of Cape Town, she brings both analytical depth and creative agility to her work.
Melangini is a strategic communication and stakeholder engagement specialist with over a decade of experience across change management, internal and external communication, PR, and crisis management. She is currently serving as the Principal Corporate Communication at Kumba Iron Ore.
Melangini thrives in complex environments where she can co-create impact through insight, empathy, and strategic clarity.
