Volunteer With Us

Share Your Skills. Change Young Lives

Volunteers play an important role in helping us expand our impact. By giving your time and expertise, you can help strengthen the support available to children with cerebral palsy and their families.

Whether you are a healthcare professional, a student, or simply someone who wants to contribute, there are many ways to get involved.

Volunteers may assist with:

  • Therapy and training programmes
  • Events and fundraising activities
  • Communications and awareness initiatives
  • Administrative or organisational support

If you have the passion to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Together, we can achieve more.

Who Can volunteer?

We consider volunteers to be an integral part of our team, and will happily accept as much time as you are willing to afford us. All you need is a passion for the nature of our work, and a willingness to be involved. NDT/Bobath training is a bonus, but not a pre-requisite. The role of the volunteer will vary depending on your level of experience and expertise, as well as your intended dates and duration of stay. Attending an outreach programme is highly recommended, both for the unique experience it offers, as well as the opportunity to explore parts of true rural Africa. An extra pair of hands is always useful!

If you’re able to stay on to assist our team with the Residential Therapy Programme held in Johannesburg, we won’t be short of things to keep you busy! This is an ideal opportunity to get to know the children and caregivers a little bit better.
